The heart of the system is the G&O bioreactor, which employs advanced Matrix technology based on the concept of Submerged Aerated Fixed Film (SAFF). This solution uses a rigid, high-density PP/PVC matrix, providing a bacterial adhesion surface up to 125 times larger than that of conventional activated sludge systems.

This structure creates an ideal environment for the formation of stable biofilms, capable of promoting the continuous and efficient biodegradation of organic matter, even under variations in load, flow, or temperature—conditions typical of onboard operations.
